I bought myself a plasma TV a couple of weeks ago, and decided a good way to compliment my TV was to buy a new PSP.
So now I got a new PSP Slim and HDTV connector cables. Everything works great, but now I am thinking about getting an external controller, but I do not want to disassemble my PSP. I realize that the PSP2TV adapter has a slot for a PS2 controller, but I have read that it is has bad resolution and takes hours to install. I also do not know if this would work on the PSP Slim. My thought and question is if it is possible to connect a PS3 controller to a PSP? To physically connect the controller I would have to use an adapter because I have yet to find any Mini-B 5 pin to Mini-B 5 pin cables. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Is there a justified reason it would not work? I have my doubts about doing this, but I am hoping since it is Sony products that they may be compatible. Thanks for the help. |

I dont think it would work because (correct me if im wrong) THE USB BIT on the ps3 controler is just for charging it. (i believe thaqts true)
