The 360 does it now aswell ryder, just to let you know.
I think there is some problem with the streaming though, but that dont affect me cause i dont stream stuff to it. Kev

I don't think he meant it like that (you never know), but anyway, I'm really liking the Divx support. It kicks major ass being able to watch my sh*t on a TV instead of a monitor.

My monitor seriously blows egg water. It's big and all, but it's soooooooo dark... Like for example, I've got this as my background, I couldn't even see that CAD logo in the top left corner until I flipped to my PC channel on my TV.

Well Kev I was referring to the fact that the 360 can't watch DivX videos straight off the HDD...(insert a freaking frowning face here...I don't know the code yet!)

Oh i see what you mean, so you know the 360 can play divx now though yeah.
Anyways, i havent even used it, now everything i *cough* buy *cough* is converted into avi, so thats not much help. Kev

I just realized how great this feature is. I downloaded a movie off the internet, and instead of watching it on my computer, I decided to try putting it on my external HDD and plugging it into my PS3. Worked like a charm, I was able to watch the movie on my TV in the comfort of my gaming chair, instead of behind a desk.

I could have done that, but I'm far too cheap to by a VGA cable just for that, especially now that my PS3 could play my movies anyway.
Also, you should switch from VLC player to Windows Media Classic, which comes with the Combined Community Codec Pack. I used to use VLC, but then I stumbled on some videos that do not work with it, while they do in WMC, along with all the others. Here is where you can download it. Combined Community Codec Pack
