Rumble is a new addition to Dualshock 3.

Rumble, meaning the controller shakes? Voice your opinion if you think I'm wrong, but I'm 100% sure the PS2's controller shook with Dualshock 2...

Just to clear things up Bam, and he who was just quoted:

The Dual Shock 3 is going to have the most advanced rumble yet on any console, imagine getting shot at from the top right of the screen while playing Haze, unlike out dated models of rumble in controllers, the Dual Shock 3 will effectively start to shake only on the top right of the controller...think surround sound, only its rumble on a controller!!!

erm....brilliant....yeah......sounds like a must have........think I'll chop my 360 in just to get this controller.

in case you didn't realise I was being sarcastic, pointless feature IMO
AND I'm no Microsoft fanboy either, I'd love a PS3, just don't have the money, already bought a 360 now and sticking with it.

I dont see it pointless, i hate when someone is shooting you and you cant figure out where he is.

BUT... i dont see this as particularly exciting, i mean its hardly a WOW I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT idea now is it. I have said befor, not on here, but to friends that it would be cool for something like that.

Anyways, nice to see an improvement in controlers, but it isnt going to make people want a PS3 anymore.

And no thats not a microsoft fanboy post or whatever, im just saying, anyways i want a PS3 lol.

Od, I never specified the 360 in that post, neither was I indirectly attacking it in any way shape or form. Sure the 360 falls into that "outdated" rumble section, but so does the Wii, and the PS2...and by no means is this the sole reason to buy a console, its just another plus to your purchase. I'm just giving a few facts about the controller I want to upgrade to from my soon to be outdated rumble-less PS3 controller...

The new controller does not get one more point over the 360 for this.

Simply because its not impossible for it to be done on the 360 aswell, and to be honest, i wouldnt buy one even if they did come out.
