wicked, the eisteddfod, a welsh thing with loads of singing, dancing, arts and stuff for kids with lots of drinking at night. I was in shell island at the time of it though, I would have gone had I known beforehand that the Stereophonics were playing there, I live about 10 or so miles from Mold, just the other side of the mountain, used to be there all the time in Macdonalds (closest one around) when I first passed.

Back on topic, he doesn't need to have any sort of internet connection (wireless or not). The PS3 connects directly to the PSP.

Not any more.

They made the PSP HAVE TO connect over wireless internet so that the 20gig version could connect(Some people are soooo stupid... Cripple one, so that the other one works, than discontinue the working one...)

Anyways, if I'm not mistaken, he'd need wifi.

Nope, the PSP connects directly to the PS3 via the built-in wireless card, or uses your router to give you a larger range of service, allowing you to do everything on the PS3 besides play games remotely, and by remotely I mean anywhere in the world with wireless internet, so I think its a cool feature, comes in handy when your grounded, or you want to use the internet on the PSP with out that annoying "Not enough memory" error...

Yeah, BUT, it's limited due to the fact that the PS3 needs to be on and in Remote Play standby mode. That part sucks IMO. Idk how it'd work, but it'd be awesome if you could turn it on remotely as well.
