The PS3 has like 1 pretty good game... I almost NEVER play it though... I might have a reason to play it when Guitar Hero III comes out, if I can get the money for a GHIII controller(without the game as I'll already have it) and than I can come up with money for Guitar Hero I and Encore, that'll give me a reason to play it.

Note that both of those games are for the PS2.

Wasn't Gears a release game? :S The number on the side is 00001 and Forza 2's is 00009, I'm sure both of those would be release games, right?

Gears of War - 9.6 - Nov 7, 2006 I think that that's just RIGHT before the 1 year mark if I'm not mistaken...


Forza 2 - 9.2 - WAY off, it's date is May 29, 2007 still a BI***IN good game though.

I don't know where these ratings are from, so I can't agree with you yet, but above are the only games from the list you gave that were maybe worth buying a 360 for. Big maybe though. A lot of the others were sloppy ports from other systems (Gun, RR6, THAW, Madden, Kameo etc.) really.

In the end, the truth is neither the PS3 nor 360 had stellar lineups from the get go. Look at the Wii's lineup, not too stellar either because it's in the same boat as the PS3 as far as launch periods, but people are expedient in ignoring that fact.

The point I'm trying to make is, a lot of people conveniently leave out the detail that the 360 was available for almost a year and a half before the PS3 when they talk about how the 360 has all these great games.

Well no sh*t, it's been out longer.

Ahhh, pretty respectable ratings then eh? Sometimes they're a little off though.

I like to rely on multiple review sites like metacritic or gamerankings though, but meh.
