I know, I know. I said a little while back that I thought Metal Gear Solid 4 looked like the best game I'd ever seen, but I have to admit that GT5 is really looking good.

Below's a link to a gallery so you can check it out for yourself. I'm particularly impressed with the ****pit view, and the people (they look as real as the cars:shock

Yea, this game is gonna bomb big time. Probaly one of the best driving games on PS3.

I assume this is very much a WIP as those shots really don't look any better than PGR3 to me and that game is two years old now. Am I the only one not that impressed with them all things considered? GT4 pushed the PS2 to the absolute limits so let's hope GT5 ends up doing the PS3 justice, although they have a bit to do by the look of it.

You may be right about the pictures, but I got both the trailers of GT5 on my PS3, and there are not racing games that I have seen that look better then this. Forza 2 is very close, but for some reason to me the front and tail lights on the cars just don't look that realistic for some reason.

It never took much to impress me with graphics. Forza 2 amazed me enough and it wouldn't make much of a difference to me if it looked more realistic, as long as it plays realistic, which it does. I'm sure GT5 will be an epic racing game. GT4 was, like usual, amazing, so this will without a doubt be great as well.

Well, in all fairness, the pics you posted weren't the best ones in the link.:lol: I was talking about the pics where they show the people working on the car being outstanding. The ****pit pics, however, are about on the same level as PGR3 now that I look back on pics of that game, so I will give you that though. It will no doubt be an oustanding game though, I don't think there's any doubt about that.

The ****pits in Forza's graphics suck, they look all pixelated and stuff.

Pagnell, is the last shot for PGR3 ingame? Because its looking good enough to be PGR4 compared to the first, and I think GT looks better than PGR3 no doubt, arguably comparable to Forza 2, and the game isn't near completion, I think GT5 is going to murder Forza 2's graphics but PGR4 is going to take the cake no problem in graphics...
