Sorry I can't offer any good suggestions, maybe your router isn't compatible with the PS3??? Is that even a possibility??? Sorry if that's dumb, I'm just throwing ideas out.

It could be, unlikely, but possible. Try giving Sony a call, I'm sure they will help you out.

Hmmm...that's wierd. Do you have any way of exchanging it? If you do that's probably the easiest way to sort it out.

Since the router works with other things, thats probably the case.

will move the PS3 to a different room before ringing sony

well moved it to a different room closer to the router and the PS3 found the router and it was 100% connection.
Glad its back up and running now
