Looks like the price drop really helped boost PS3 sales this week. It outsold the 360 for the first time (I believe :? ) in North America. Hope people will finally stop trying to spread the hate. Here's a link.

Yeah I just read about it, I wonder if it's just because of the price cut and will deteriorate soon...I hope not, more PS3 owners means more people to play online with

I agree. The price will most likely be dropped again when XIII comes out since that'll be a long time from now.

And of course they're gunna sell more with a price drop. Wait until Microsoft drops their prices.

Glad that the ps3 is selling some units... perhaps Sony can use the extra funds to sort out their version of LIVE and therefore give ms a run for it's money.

I find it strange that old generation stuff is still selling so well.... guess it is a price war after all 8)

The PS3 has actually almost reached the 5 million mark, its around 4.48 million consoles sold world wide...I think that should score Sony and Achievement haha, but really thats a good amount of consoles sold for a console with almost no games and cost an arm and a leg...

for what your getting with the PS3 its a bargain, blu-ray etc
blu ray player costs in the UK about £800 ($1600) so for £400 ($800) you are getting great graphics games console and a blu-ray player for half the price.
