Well, it isn't PS3 exclusive and that is all that bothers me. I have read a delay of less than six months in which time improvements and extras will probably be added. This is Epic we are talking about here - GOW has earned them more money than any other game they have made so they're not just going to turn around a screw the 360 owners out there. Also, Sony must have given them sh*t loads of money because there are nearly 3x more 360 owners out there so it stands to reason they are going to lose a hell of a lot of money just so PS3 owners have a few bragging rights.

I don't know how true that is, but I remember reading that Sony is not buying exclusivity. On the other hand it was confirmed that Microsoft does buy that, for example with GTA.

The reason for UT3 being a timed exclusive could be because the game was actually developed first for the PS3 and PC. It could be that they are simply behind schedule with the 360 version.

What is really a strange step is that Epic announced that they will not go to Windows Live, meaning that there can't be any cross platform play between 360 and PC. At the same time they said that they are thinking whether they will make it between PS3 and PC, but they do know that the PS3 version will be able to have the same mods as the PC version.

Yeah, I don't understand all the exclusive talk either. I hate when people use the term exclusive even when it's just a timed exclucive. Either it's exclusive or not I would think. These days there are fewer and fewer true exclusives anyway, I think that in the near future the only exclusives will be first party games.

Sort of off topic. Saw an interview on Game Head this week where the head of ps3 games was asked if he was upset at loosing the exclusive rights to GTA4... he said that the software house, although in a contract, wanted to release across all platforms and Sony agreed.... because the next big game from GTA software house will be exclusive to ps3... think it was called LA Noir (Dark LA).... it was sort of hinted that Sony and the sortware house did a deal.
It's just interesting how the business operates.

I just also read yesterday that Rockstar is working on another PS3 exclusive, although the article didn't mention what the title is or what the game is about. Hopefully soon we'll get some more info.

As I have always said... a strong group of consoles is better for the gaming community as each company will be striving to get into the lead.

Lets hope that the ps3 has some killer apps soon enough to boost it sales.

It's been conformed that the game is not LA Noir, I just hope its not like that 360 exclusive...um...its something stupid...tenis? I don't know, I just hope it's like a free roam thing...
