Secondly, the gameplay in Killzone SUCKED. It was a HORRID game. There was nothing new OR intriguing in it.

Lastly, I am not a fanboy, I gave all the consoles a fair chance. I played Bamhm's PS3 for a long-ass time when he came over to my house, and it didn't wow me. I played the Wii for a few minutes at Gamestop, and thought the controls were awful (This, I'm sure, it partly due to everyone using and abusing that console.) I'm having a friend come over tonight/tomorrow with his Wii so we can play Resident Evil 4. I have also played the 360 EXTENSIVELY. In fact, I'm pretty damn good at Gears, ask Bam. The only console that I've played for a long time that actually wowed me was the 360. Why? Because of the awesome LIVE integration with the entire system.

I ask you, Ryder, what does the PS3 have? Free online? Nothing compared to Xbox LIVE (And it's only 50 dollars a YEAR.) Good games? Hardly. Sony is losing most of their 'flagship' titles. Better console/hardware? I guess, at twice the price.

The controller sucks - no vibration, too light, doesn't feel comfortable in your hands. I'm tired of hearing about Blu-Ray - I seriously hope it goes the way of the MiniDisc so I can shove if in your face.

The PS3 has NOTHING right now, so until I see something groundbreaking, I'm not going to praise it, or Sony.

Go ahead, pick it apart. I'll be waiting.

OK, this comment by itself shows that you are a fanboy. You moved from explaining why the game looked bad for you to a console war, saying how the PS3 and the Wii suck, and the 360 is awesome because of its live service. I never asked your opinion of the consoles, or gameplay of previous Killzone games, this was a discussion about what the new video which was released at E3 looks like. You came and you stated:

He doesn't hate the Wii because we were talking on MSN, and he said EXACTLY this "they're pretty ballin'" and went to go play Res4 some more, if he hated the Wii, he wouldn't be up at 1:30 am playing it. :P

I'll have to disagree with you on this one Constantine (one of the rare times I do).

Strictly on topic, I believe that you must have seen a poor clip of Killzone 2's E3 footage, because in all honesty, in my (and a lot of people's) eyes, the game's graphics are superior to Gears of War. They don't "blow them out of the water" as some would say, but they are superior. The animation is superior, the lighting is better, and there are many more effects away from the action than there are in Gears.

I suggest you find a quality clip of the footage and watch it on a decent display, I'm sure you'll see our point then.

As for the hating and bashing, it think it's crazy that you can have so many judgements about a system that's only been out for 8 months. Jeez, give it some time, it hasn't even gotten into it's groove yet. :lol:

I encourage you to look back a the 360 when it was 8 months old and tell me in honesty that it showed as much potential that the PS3 is showing right now.

The PS3 may have stuggled previously, but the general consensus is that things are looking up for Sony, and the system has a very bright future.

Many of your points are moot at this stage, especially the price considering the PS3 is only $20 more than the Elite (which doesn't include WiFi or free online). Online is improving and will get a lot better when Home is rolled out (even without the virtual world, lots of useful options are being introduced such as matchmaking).

As for having nothing to offer, I'd say that after seeing Sony's E3 showing this year, that now is a very exciting time to be a PS3 owner. There are 15 (compared to 360's 13) exclusive games coming out this year, and there will be over 150 games available by the end of the year.

Now might be the time to re-think some of your misconceptions. :lol:

You really dont have to put IMO at the end of every sentence. Simply because what anyone says is their opinion and opinion only. I happen to agree with Constantine, and by him saying the PS3 and Wii just dont impress him, but the 360 is awesome. This dosent make him a fanboy, its how he sees the consoles based on his own preferences.

I think the PS3 is an overpriced machine, that yeah, has potential but at the moment dosent touch the 360. The Wii i cant say much about as i havent played one. But does my views make me a 360 fanboy, no it dosent.

I get sick and tired of people accusing others of "thats a fanboy comment", i know i say it sometimes, but im only messing. I dont go and hug my 360 and comfort it saying "dont listen to those idiots".

I am really trying not to babble on here, but just wanted to voice my views on this subject.

As for Harry Potter, you may have read in another post. Give ANYTHING away and i will hunt you down and give you papercuts from every page in the book until the pages are so blood soaked you wont be able to read any more of it.

I didn't accuse him of being a fanboy for saying that the 360 is a superior console, I accused him of that because he turned a simple discussion of the killzone 2 trailer into a console war thread. Also he tends to curse a lot about the PS3, and if thats not a fanboy character, then I don't know what is.
