Anyway, this is great news for anyone that's planning on getting a PS3. I just read that the 80GB version in the U.S. won't have the Emotion Engine in it, so if you want full backward compatability you have to pick up a 60 gigger soon.

Early adopters FTW!!! I couldn't care less about the extra HD space, it's super simple to upgrade the HD (and cheaper) as it is anyway. :lol:

the 80 gig version is totally useless. I mean extra 20 GB of HDD space is not worth $40. You can probably get another 60 GB HDD for that much money.

Same here, I don't even really need 60 gigs, I only have 20 on my current main HDD for my computer.
