I just got this game a couple of days ago and thought I'd post my impressions. IMO this is (by far) the best PSN title out yet. The gameplay is along the lines of Geometry Wars or Blast Factor, but I think it is a lot deeper than either of those games.
There are 3 different rock types (rock, gold, and ice) and you have 3 weapons that correspond to each type. This simple mechanic adds lots of strategy and depth while keeping it simple. The reason the game is so great is because even though it is so simple, it has that "just one more game" factor that keeps you wanting to continue after you die. Last night I played for about five hours straight until 4:00 AM. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it an 8.5 or 9. Considering it's only $7.99, I'd highly recommend this for anyone with a PS3. ![]() |
