This is probably a really dumb question, but in the game menu, what is the Game Data Utility? It's seperate from the Save Data Utitlity.
Is this just a place for games to store info so they can do patches and have faster loading times and such? Also, why do some games not have it? When I first fired up Virtua Fighter 5 it created a file, but not Motorstorm. :? Yet, later when I downloaded a patch for Motorstorm, it created a file under Game Data Utility, and that's what led me to believe what I said about patches and such. Another wierd thing is, why do they have it visible if you can't do anything to it besides delete the files or view info? Thanks in advance, it's not super important, it's just been bugging me a little bit.  |
