I loved the first halo, but the second one made me kind of deslike the franchise. The only 360 games I will miss are gears of war, and maybe halo 3 just to end the franchise. But the ps3 will have all the games I care about. Devil may cry, metal gear, kingdom hearts, killzone exc.

And both systems will share some great games will assassins creed and resident evil 5.

Devil May Cry is no longer a PS3 exclusive. I think I heard the same thing about kingdom hearts. There have been rumors going on that MGS won't be exclusive either, but the makers of it say that these rumors go on because 360 owners want it to come to their console, and the company has no intension of doing that.

Halo 2 I bought for the XBOX when it first came out.... it never really struck me as anything special at all... then on my last trip to the UK last month my ten year old Son and I sat down and completed it in co-op mode and we both had a blast... so am looking forward to Halo 3.

Well, when my friend first got his 360, we beat halo 2 in coop. I have to say both of us were disappointed. The story was really bad, and the game play was not that fun either. The only thing that could make this game great is multiplayer, but I never had a chance to play that.

Would you mind pointing out a good story, Beserk_Fury? Also, while we're at it, what makes an FPS fun that Halo doesn't have?

Please, enlighten me, masterful one.

If you want an excellent game, regardless of anything else, play Halo 1/2.

Well, I don't know what exactly to say. Most importantly, the story. Half Life 2 was an amazing game. Not only did it look great, it actually had a very good story, which Halo 2 lacked. Also variation is important. In Halo 2 it seemed as if we were fighting the same enemies over and over again throughout the game. In Half Life 2 enemies constantly changed, some were humanoids, some monsters, some vehicles. Also there were plenty of puzzles in the game. The only puzzle in Halo 2 was how to not get confused in hallways that look the same. Resistance also had a pretty good story and enemies constantly changed. Insomniac has always done weapons well, and this game was no exception.

Well, was this what you were looking for? I hope this enlightenment was worthy of calling me a masterful one.

Ugh. Resistance pales in comparison of the Halo saga. While the augar was cool, everything else wasn't very good. Not to mention, the Xbox controller is about as close as you can get without using a mouse and keyboard.

Do you comprehend the story? It is much better than Killzone or Resistance (I can't comment on Half-Life as I've only played part of the first game before I got bored.) Halo tries to be a realistically cool sci-fi game, and it nails it perfectly. The only problem I found with Halo 2 were the weapon balances and the annoying pop-in graphics.

I await your comment, sensei.
