I (finally) got my PS3 this morning, and I've been playing around with it all day. I was really surprised with how easy it is to use, maybe I'm just used to the XMB because of the PSP by now though but it's extremely user friendly 8) . Virtua Fighter 5 is stunning.
Anyway, I'll probably be playing some online Resistance as soon as I finish with the campaign, and I wanted to add anybody who wants me as a friend. (Not just for Resistance, for other games as soon as I get them too )My tag is VAMP_24, so make sure you hit me up. Post your tag below. |

Will do.
On another note, I don't understand some of the PS3 hating that's going around lately. It's obviously a great system once you play it. I think the people that talk sh*t have never played it, I think it's the best product out right now. |

Nah, I get you, I wasn't talking about anyone on here. I was talking about some of the bloggers and commentors on sites like kotaku and joystiq.
Also, why does liking one system mean that the other system is crap to a lot of people? I think they're both great. :? |

They are both great, which is why it was such a hard decision for me. I love, absolutely love, the XMB, but I love Halo too much. Even now my PSP is modded with Halo things.
I also think the dashboard is extremely intuitive, and less bland than the XMB on a large television. You can't even set your own pics on the PS3 yet. Constantine

Your right... I HATE the fanboyism thing.... both systems have lots to offer and it is personnal prefference at the end of the day.
The 360 (my choice) is great adore it... the PS3 is great also. Both have their strengths and weaknesses... will be getting a ps3 as and when a major title hits the thing but at the moment the 360 is more than enough for me. I hope you have many hours of fun with the machine and keep us all informed how you are getting along. Des  |
