Getting a PS3 next week!!!!!! - PSP-Forum.com

I mentioned on another thread that I had suspicions that my wife was gonna get me a PS3 for my B-day. I was able to trick her into telling me whether she got me one or not and she said yes!

She ordered it online, and it's scheduled for delivery next week. I am so fired up right now, I had to share my great news with you guys.

She got VF5 for my first game (I'm a huge VF fan) and I can't wait to pick up Motorstorm, Resistance, Oblivian, Fight Night and maybe a couple of downloadable games to start off with.

Seriously, I'm super excited.

Ew, Virtua Fighter. DOA is the best of all of them. Anyways, congrats on your soon to be new PS3 - I hope you get a 360 eventually

Thanks. Constantine, you don't like VF? :shock: I like it 'cause I think it's the closest game to real fighting, timing and strategy-wise. Plus IMO, it's the deepest fighting game out there (Soul Caliber comes close though).

I do agree with you that DOA is pretty great too though. I like their Bruce Lee style fighter (I forgot his name) better than Jackie or Sarah from VF. :wink: :lol:

Yea, DOA is a LOT better. I like Tekken, too, but DOA more. Are you thinking of Zack?

Constantine, I can't remember his name, but he's a smaller guy with black hair and he dances around and fights really flashy like Bruce Lee. He's really good at kicking. He reminds me a lot of Law from Tekken.

In all honesty, I really like Tekken and DOA, but for me VF has just a slight edge. Maybe because it's a little more realistic like I mentioned.

Ryder, would you recommend Motorstorm or Resistance first?
