Yeah its worth buying. I wouldn't rent a game like that mainly because its so huge and it you would barely scratch the surface.
Its an awesome game

The best RPG on any platform in my opinion. The PS3 version is meant to be identical to the 360 version which is no bad thing.

I think I've already voiced my opinion, but here it goes again.
I actually voiced a long post here. That doesn't mean it isn't fun, it just isn't much of an RPG. It is like an RPG for the 'short attention span - don't worry, be happy' crowd. Short attention span in that you can check in for 15 minutes, do a few little nothing tasks and leave. Don't Worry, Be Happy because you don't have to worry about battles (everything scales so you're never really outmatched), don't worry about choices (nothing matters, you can be good and evil at once, take on every class and so on), and not worry about missing stuff (everything you find is scaled so you'll never miss anything good by not exploring). |

Oh - forgot to give my opinion - YES, buy it! Not a rental, this is a game you want to put a hundred or so hours into.
I may give it crap as an RPG, but that doesn't mean I didn't have a blast ... in fact I recently reviewed the whole Knights of the Nine module set (with all downloadable content) |
