Default What keyboard and mouse are compatible w/ Linux-PS3

My dad got me a USB keyboard, and I had a USB mouse laying around, but when I go to install Yellow Dog Linux, it just sticks itself in an infinite loop.... Does anyone have a list of companies, or know where I can get a list so that I can get it to stop? Because until than this stupid Linux OS won't let me using my PS3...

Not when installing Linux...my keyboard and mouse work great on the PS3, but it doesn't do **** on Linux..... :'(

The Indian or something said to call Linux, if they've got a phone number, I'm going to do that and see what they say...

If not, Time for my 3rd PS3... :'( because this HDD WILL NOT come out so I can format it in my computer.

also, Constantine, would your laptop happen to have 2 HDD slots? because the PS3 HDD is a laptop HDD I'm pretty sure, so I don't think my computer can connect to it even if I did get it out.

EDIT: If I can get a list of compatible mice and keyboards, I'll put it one here.

EDIT 2: OKay, I guess it wasn't my Keyboard, because it works fine, but it still doesn't work, I think if I try to install linux again, that I'm going to wait till you can type something and it take you back to the PS3 XMB...

I'm going to gamestop to get a new one tonight, lol(One hell of a lucky *******, huh? )

No, only one HDD slot. If it uses a laptop harddrive it would be the first I've ever seen.

Wait, what? PS3s don't use Laptop HDDs? but I heard that you could get a like 750 GB HDD for a laptop and pop it in the PS3?

I don't know...

EDIT: I got a new PS3, but my stuff I backed up doesn't work. :'( So all my saved games... Gone, all my games, I'm going to have to re-download. :'(

Sony's brilliant, you can share accounts on the PS3, but you can't transfer a backup from 1 PS3 to another...
