Well, I think its too early to decide the answer to that question. You see, its not that Sony just wants to screw everyone over with the price, they just wanted to make the most advanced console, and they took a huge risk. Now the question is, will it bring them to glory once again, or is it going to destroy their gaming industry?

I do not understand why people say that Sony made this console $600 USD just to get more money and because they're stuck up...Sony is spending more than $1000 USD on just one PS3; therefore, they're losing a massive amount of money on each console sold...

Plus I bet that if the PS3 came out a year ago and the 360 came out November 2006 everybody would be laughing at the 360....its just a matter of racism against consoles.... :roll: :roll: :roll:

No, they are not spending that much on each console, that figure takes into account the PS3 R&D over the last four years. If they need to charge the amount they are charging it is down to inefficient construction methods (which will improve as MS's have) and biting off more than they could chew.

Ryder... my old mate.... sometimes you talk completely out of your arse... and this is one of those times.

No one is attacking you because you have a PS3... there is no need to try and defend your console.... if your happy with it then great, cool, fantastic, wahay for you.... but just simply by defending it in such ways as exampled above does give the impression that your are trying to justify your purchase of the PS3 to yourself.

The Video song Monkey B was great... I did chuckle all the way through it.

My local EB Games has started buying back PS3's because people are trading in for 360's... some are doing it the other way I hasten to add in all fairness but mostly Christmas pressies os PS3's being traded in because their friends all have 360's and play online.

I hope that Sony sort themselves out and get the PS3 up to scratch as I am sure they could if they just listened to what their market place wants.

A few software houses have now commented on how hard it is to programme on the PS3 compared to the 360 and perhaps that will have an effect on available titles too.

Maybe it would be easier just to buy a dart board and be done with it :wink:

Its like this.....

Programmers are 3 year old, they can ride a bike with stabalizer, but ride at the same speed they walk.

Ask a grown up which is faster a bike or walking, sure bike is.

But when the programmer cant ride the bike then wlking is simply the better option. Yet the tables turn when the programmers learn to ride without the stabilizers, then all hell breaks loose.

YEAH. I CHALLENGE ANYONE TO GIVE WEIRDER EXAMPLES THAN ME :twisted: :lol:

Joking, i believe they are going to be pretty much the same in profit etc... no clear winner. I believe the way sony are going microsoft will overtake in the next next-gen consoles. Thats unless Nintendo change the gameplan, or should i say gameplay.
