Sorry to anyone who think's the Wii is the greatest thing in the world(Odrhanus especially), but I'm really glad I didn't get caught up in the hype and buy one. Outside of Zelda, there's no reason for a real gamer to own one, and probably won't be for many months.

IT IS THE GREATEST THING IN THE WORLD!!! jk, it pales in comparison to the 360 and PS3, but I still love it, its just.....Nintendo! Funny games, new ideas, fun with mates. suckonit have a go first, play some redsteel, even though it isn't the best FPS out there, its fun to play because you're actually doing the aiming, it just reminds me of time crisis, but this time you move yourself around.

I'll give it a shot when they put some games with depth to them, again no offense to those that enjoy it already. Minigame collections (which essentially is all that the Wii has now) aren't really my cup of tea.
Don't get me wrong, I see the potential, but they need to take that potential and run with it before I'll consider it. |

I am pretty loyal to Sony, but I always wait a year or two before buying the new console. I figure that by then it will already be clear which is the best, and since so far it's ended up being the ps1 and ps2 I'm expecting it'll be the ps3, but if not... I'll buy somethin' else. I think it's too early to tell.
