oh dear oh dear....and now it is illegal to import the consoles from other countries...well....maybe not illegal but I did hear something on the Radio about Sony stopping imports.

What? Why would Sony want to stop imports? As long as they make money, you wouldn't think they'd care who bought it... Even though it doesn't really affect me, I'd lose some respect for Sony if they just left the UK incompatible...

They don't want imports because they want the profile for their console as high as they can make it in areas. Why wait for an official release when you can import it?

i cant believe Sony have made this big mistake....

PS3 here in SA is sold out, the launch day is 23rd March... the Wii is nowhere close to SA... people don't even know it exists....

in Brazil the PS3 is $1434 (no jokes - R3000reais - check google if u dont believe - here in SA it will be $811 = R6000rand)
