It's amazing, it's more than amazing... If you're asking for people who already have it, the only people that can answer are Myself, Ryder, and Agomae, both Ryder and I are fanboys and Agomae doesn't play hers much cuz she doesn't have any games, so don't really expect anything from someone who's not a fanboy. :P
Even if I weren't a fanboy, I'd still say the PS3 is AMAZING! The one thing so far that I don't like about it is that it doesn't support .mov files, and that's the type my camera makes. Also, when I first got it, every once in a while the controller would spaz out, like I'd be sneaking up on someone and it'd just shoot or make me sping around all crazy, I took my remote apart and it's been working great ever since. |

I recommend the PS3 with every ounce in my soul...I love that thing...right now there aren't too many good games, although Resistance:Fall Of Man is the best so far...but by March I can't guarantee there will be amazing games...pre-order it or just camp outside a store like I did...it is totally worth it man...

Dude, asking fanboys is only gonna give you the most biased opinion out there. Of course they'll say anything to make it sound great.
Here's my opinion. Go out and spend half the money on a 360, have a choice of like three times as many games, and still have virtually the same graphics. Oh...and 360's are actually available in stores...

I am not a fanboy ok...the only reason I didn't get the 360 is because I didn't have the money and by the time I had the money the PS3 was coming out soon so I decided to go with the PS3...plus I own more PS2/PSX titles than Xbox titles and my PS2 broke...so yeah my earlyer post was absolutely not based on a little fanboy...

Got the 20gb at launch. So far, love it. Using a 46" Bravia XBR3 1080p lcd. Got 6 bluray titles, 6 games (resistance, NHL, tiger, madden, full auto 2, RR7).
Tiger, Madden, and Resistance keep me busy. All fantastic games. The others are good, but those 3 are by far my favorite. GT:HD...phenomenal. Replay mode looks REAL in freeze frames. The arcade games..pretty good. But I especially love the PS1 classics for PSP from the PS3 store. Crash, Jumping Flash, Tekken 2. Are you serious?!?! What a great feature. Online works well. Definitely missing some features, but what's there works. Plus, it's free. Bluray playback is as good as the reviews say. Even the worst of my movies (talladega nights) kicks the **** out of DVD. I feel confident saying I would rather wait months for a bluray release of some movie than buy the DVD and get to watch it earlier. What else...SIXAXIS is light and missing rumble. So far hasn't affected me much. When you're playing Motorstorm demo using motion sensing to steer you pretty much forget about rumble. Resistance: best multiplayer FPS since BF2. Last time I counted number of people playing it was 1:30am on a Saturday night. Almost 1500 people online. 40/40 servers have NEVER lagged for me. I mean not even in the slightest. Mic support works (i use a motorola H500 bluetooth) and the quality is great and consistent. Sleek, quiet, and very capable. Been a 360 owner since launch as well. Very pleased with both. 2007 is going to be a great year for the PS3 and multiplatform gaming in general.
