But then Sony realized that if they take out this $5 chip out, they can save millions. Another interesting thing is that I was told that the PS3 is able to upconvert movies which are placed on the HDD. I am not sure how this is done, but many people said it is possible. Who knows, maybe with the future firmware upgrades, upconversions of DVD movies and games will be possible as well... |
