480, 720, and 1080 are the resolutions of the TV
P stands for progressive I stands for inter woven( i think) So P refreshes each line as a single line, wheras I uses two lines for one It puts the used image on the top line then brings the next image on the line below and fades the top line. Thats why P is much better. |
