Default PS3 Burns down 1/2 a house!

Apparently the PS3 has some SERIOUS overheating problems... Check out this article I found on QJ about this poor guy that got his house burnt down because he left his PS3 on...

For quite sometime now the PS3 has been bugged by heat issues. But hot enough to burn down a house? According to a guy named noob, his beloved PS3 burned down half his house to a crisp. Unbelievable? We're printing the full account from his blog site word for word:

Not thinkin the NG, big boy playstation three would have any trouble being on over night.......... But I was wrong! Comming home at six in the morning and finding half of my house burnt to a crisp.. The fire department took a few days finding what set the blaze, my playstation three, so they say.. Funny the part of the house that got jacked up just so happen to be right where the ps3 was siting. Now I have up to 12,000 bucks in damage, and no more playstation! I tryed getting in touch with the lovely people at sony, LOL but I havent seen a dime yet..

At least it didn't fry his sense of humor. But seriously, folks, if the PS3 does have the tendency to burst into a supernova (and we're not saying it does) well that's not just serious. It's damn downright dangerous! Unfortunately, noob didn't post pics or printed the official findings of the fire department that hosed down his house. That would at least make it official and merit the attention of Sony and all PS3 fanboys who leave the console running 24/7.

But why take the risk? We suggest you keep your PS3 cool (or turn it off altogether when not in use) while this matter remains unresolved.

I already read this...

I just think this guy is a Microsoft fanboy that's trying to make Sony look worse...

There's no evidence...

Oh yeah, that could be true.... He should take some pictures if it is true... But than again, it seems kinda likely, because the PS3 did have some overheating problems other than this.

but enough to catch fire and burn half a house down? I don't think so, he probably spilt some water over it or something dumb like that

J/k even if it were a 360 I'd still think it were fake...

It would have been on the news and everthing if something like that happened. Maybe i have an over active imagination and am picturing some scene from a hollywood movie, i just dont believe sorry.

But if it was a 360, of course it would be true, mine melts a hole in the floor if i leave it on whilst i have dinner.
