PS3 from what I have seen - PSP-Forum.com

I played a demo for PS3 today, and i think the detail looks amazing, but the games are very slow with load times, and when you make a turn in the demo, it does not respond for a number of seconds after you've told which way to go... the cars all move very "choppy-ish" and I think that I would never spend $600+ for one.

Thats a demo buddy...demos are always worse than the real games... :wink:

^^ Yup, when you load up a demo it usually says something along the lines of "This demo represents a product still in development and as such does not represent the final product"

I think I played the same demo as you. The off-road truck demo thingy. I did notice that when the race is just starting off and all the trucks are on the screen it was choppy, but once there was only a few trucks it was great. But like said before its only a demo and besides that one point I personally think it was great.

Have you guys seen the previews for Madden '07 on it? The details look great, but the gameplay doesn't look as good as the PS2 version's for some reason. I'm starting to not like the PS3....

Haha, I totally agree with you Ryder but...Who would have known it that you would be the first person to reply and cover up for the PS3, probably the biggest PS3 fanboy on the forums!

I have played it and i never noticed that.

all i can say is that i do not think the ps3 is worth getting until the prices drop considerably, i already own a 360 so that is good enough for me at the moment. Still would have got the ps3 if i didnt get the 360 though.
