I can't wait for Wednesday! This is what I have been waiting for since day one of owning my PS3, in-game XMB.

This video shows everything more at once.

The trophies idea is actually...cool. I've never been too crazy for the gamerscore on XBL, its pretty cool, but its just numbers. Now, this idea of leveling up turns playing games sort of into an RPG in itself. I'm not wild about it, but personally, I like the idea better than gamerscore (although, both work fine).

If you ask me, this finally brings the PSN up to XBL's level for a gamer (the PSN's video store is due out this summer), if not makes it better for it is still free. I only hope this will force Microsoft to lower, if not completely get rid of, XBL's monthly/yearly charge.

Anyway, bring it on!

OK thats awesome, one BIG reason i didnt like the ps3 was its lack of achievements system. Makes the games better IMO.

I think when 2.40 is released PSN and XBL will be the same but with PSN being free PSN just edges it for me.

Same here, when I had my PS3, and there was a cross-platform game I'd be getting, I'd get it on the 360 over the PS3 any day just because of the achievements, but now, I'll have to think about it... And do a bit more reading up on it to see if there are any differences, it'll probably come down to which friends I think I'd play it with more, the friends on the 360 or the PS3.

hehe, that's why I could beat you da** near every time Ryder?

I remember that the few times we did play a serious race that I beat you, than again, you've had a lot of practice over me, I haven't even been able to play it in over a year.
