Seriously if you try to browse the XMB while playing it is really choppy. I thought the PS3 was more powerful... whatever
Its not because PS3 can't handle it, it is because the game makers have to make their games support the feature. This isn't even in Sony's hands anymore.

I understand its not Sony's fault, but that should be patched into GTAIV. rockstar allowed for the PSP and all computer versions of the games to use custom tracks. and now with the feature available they should patch it in.

However Sony's hands are all over the XMB, and it is definatley choppy when you are running a game.

Just because it doesn't flow as easily as it does outside of a game, doesn't mean its bad. It kind of takes a lot of resources to run an HD game, and then load a system menu at the same time. Try it on a computer, run a game, and then press the windows key on your keyboard, see how long it takes for it to open...

Anyways, it seems that 2.4 has been pulled off the update list. There have been a lot of reports of it bricking peope's PS3s.
