I would certainly think about it. (The try and convince my mum lol) Woulc also depend on mailing costs and stuff. Seeing as it would be a big bundle and all that stuff |

Ebay is the biggest "used stuff" website here. We dont have a craigs list or anything like that, not thats popular or well known about anyways. Id suggest sticking it on ebay and put shipping prices in with it.

Can I make a UK ebay account even through I'm in the US? Also do you know how people look at US sellers there? Finally, how bad do you think the taxes would be for me to ship it to UK?

I personally wouldnt buy from overseas, as we get charged import taxs left right and centre. I dont actually know what the charges are for you to ship. And i believe you just put in your ebay US account that you can ship to the UK and it will show up on the UK ebay.
