PS3 Price Cut.. Again? - Page 2 - PSP-Forum.com

He's talking about the price drop, his point is that he's gonna be getting a PS3 soon and he's happy about saving some money. But yeah, you're right about the hard drives though, I don't understand the obsession with hard drive sizes when it's super easy to upgrade the storage of the PS3.

He was referring to the 20 GB HDD of the 360, not the PS3. That's why I've got a 120 GB for my 360, 20 GB is WAY too small. That'd be cool if they kept the 80 gig, and lowered both the 40 and 80 gig prices, than put the 120 GB where the 80 gig currently is.

That way it'd be more likely that I'd get another PS3.

You misread my post.

What im saying is the i cannot even use up 20gigs that my xbox 360 has. So having a ps3 with 40 gigs will be even better.

So im trying to say is that i wouldnt buy the more expensive one with larger HDD, i would get the 40gig (plenty enough) which is hopefully going down in price.

I wasnt knocking the ps3 or nothing, more complementing it come to think of it.

Oh, I guess I completely missed your point. I'm surprised that you can't use up the 360 HDD. I mean with all the videos and demos available on live service, I would have filled it up in no time. I have almost 30 GB worth of stuff on my PS3 hard drive, and the PSN has less things on it than Live.

I know, I always have to delete demos and trailers, but then again I have my whole music collection (about 1200 songs) on there too. Right now though, even with all the music, I have about 20 demos, 15 downloaded games, 15 trailers, 10 themes, and about 50 wallpapers so you can fit quite a bit actually.

I know that the 20 GB HDD on the 360 gets used up soooo quick, I always had to delete things off my 360 when I had my 20 gig, now I've got all kinds of movies, demos, DLC, music, and just about everything else you can put on it.

When I get a PS3 again, I'm going to get the 120 gig just because the 40 gig doesn't have a lot of things that the 120 GB does. If the ONLY difference was the HDD size and $100, I'd get the 40 gig than.

Well i dont download demos and when i do i delete them once completed. And the only arcade games i download are the ones bamhm says are free for the weekend etc.

I dont download music or videos, dont see the point, might aswell just watch them from PC on gametrailers or something.

I don't download the movies that expire, just the free ones and I bought 1 episode of Family Guy and 2 episodes of Ctrl+Alt+Del. But the actual movie movies, they're a waste if money IMO.

I agree, I hate having to rebuy the same movie over and over again on VHS first, then DVD, then Blu-ray, then on iTunes, etc., etc.

I wish you could just buy a movie once and have the rights to it so you can get it again on whatever format you want for free.
