Final Fantasy XIII this year? - PSP-Forum.com

I just read an article on joystiq that talks about an interview with one of the developers of Final Fantasy XIII. In the interview he says that there will be a demo coming to PSN, but more importantly he says that FF XIII will be coming out in 2008.

I saw I think in a few famitsu scans that a demo was coming out, it will be certainly great news if it is coming out this year. Btw is this game gonna be turnbased?

If I remember correctly, the demo is coming in 2008, and the makers are hoping that they will be able to release the full game this year as well, but this most likely means that it won't come this year.

I don't know how the combat will be on it, but it'll probably be similar to XII.

I totally believe there is a new final fantasy but didnt they say like 2 years ago or somthing they stopped? Its kinda confusing.
But who am i to ask cause i dont really keep up with the final fantasy games.

Two years ago they said that they aren't re-making FFVII for the PS3.
