Crysis 1.5 for PS3!!!

I just read an articles on gamesradar, kotaku and joystiq (articles linked) that talk about an enhanced Crysis port in development for the PS3.

The articles say there is no 360 version in the works because of "technical reasons" (can't wait to see what Ryder says about this, lol).

This makes me very happy to be a PS3 owner, I've really been wanting to play this game, but I'm not gonna spend the money to get a computer that's capable.

Too bad its most likely going to be a Crysis 0.5 not 1.5 due to the lack of performance compared to the kind of PC's that Crysis demands. No matter what people say, gaming PC's have far better performance. I see where you are going about the money, I can't afford one too, but that doesn't change the facts.

As long as it looks at least as good as CoD4 or Uncharted I'll be happy. Also, I wouldn't put anything past the guys behind that engine, I wouldn't be surprised if it came out looking pretty great.

Well it's Microsoft's arrogance that makes it impossible to have Crysis on the 360. Crysis is heavily dependant on HDD cache and, what's that? Microsoft refuses to allow devs to make any game require a ($100 20GB) HDD? They love to limit their console and devs alike? 8.5GB disks? Sony put a HDD in every PS3? 50GB disks? Future proof?! Crysis only possible with a HDD? Well, in that case, the PS3 has shown its hardware superiority once again, and it's acquired an awesome game exclusive to the console market. 2008 is a hell of a year to be a PS3 owner!

Ok unfair fanboy switch off haha, I wasn't being serious guys (although all of that was indeed facts haha). And on topic, Crysis is not coming to any console guys. Crytec said so.

I meant Crysis as the original game. Sequals and other games in the franchise are up in the air though.

I just saw a short clip about this on Xplay. They say that it is supposed to be the same as Crysis on PC, with some additions. Hey, if it showed up on this show, there is a good chance it will be true.
