Could the Wii beat PS3 & 360?

Basing the best console on opinion well simply wont resolve this argument, as opinions are opinions.

Solving the best console argument, i feel should be down to what profit is made, therefore xbox 360 wins.

only because its been out for a year longer, take a look at the 360's profits now, then compare them to that of the ps3 in a year, then we'll see.

End of the day, the 360 and PS3 are better when it comes to power and graphics, the Wii wins when it comes to fun & gameplay.

I think videogaming is very much a social thing, there was nowt better than 4 player on Goldeneye, I hardly EVER play on a console on my own, only when I'm bored at home, would much rather play multiplayer. I think the Wii is more suited to multiplayer games and for people to have a laugh together.

That's why I really want TCR6:LV for the PS3 when it comes out, online co-op with mics.

I cant wait for SSBB online, in fact any online Wii game, none have been released yet but they're coming! Free service too.

The difference is your statement that the Wii is better for 'fun and gameplay' is a matter of opinion where as the 360 and PS3 being better for graphics is a matter of fact. I personally don't find the Wii to be better for 'fun and gameplay' but that is my opinion.

You have just completly shot yourself in the foot there.

These are figures that you found, and then go against them?

obviously a typo, its meant to be 2006, do you think the 360 would have sold 10 million units in a month?

yes I should have added IMO for the fun & gameplay bit.

At the end of the day, the Wii has become a bit of a surprise competitor, when I first heard about the console I thought it would not take off, but hearing reviews of it made me just want to buy one, no-one can say any console is better than any other because they just aren't, I spent a good hour arguing with my mates last night about how the graphics on 360 will be just as good as on ps3, but obviously they had to differ, just based on last gen consoles. I think this generation everyone should just go with their gut feeling, or get the console their mate hasn't got! I mite be tempted sooner or later with a 360 as my mates will more than likely get the ps3, GoW and Halo3 are just too tempting!

Oh and one good thing about the wii is you get better at wii sports when ****ed i've found.

Im not going to assume you are lying as all the other dates are January 07, i found it a bit much for a month yes, but i also know bill gates is worth £48 billion, so wouldnt be suprised.

As for the 360 having the same graphics as the ps3, some games at the moment are the same, and maybe better, as seen with need for speed.

But, at the end of the day, once the programmers have become familiar with the PS3's CPU maze, i have no doubt it will be producing better graphics. Whether its considerably better well thats a matter of opinion.

you may be right, it's a year since the release of the 360 and GOW, new games for the PS2 still don't cease to amaze me, until I've SEEN a PS3 in action, I am undecided.

All I know is I love my Wii!!

Got a payrise at work so i can save up for one and a HDTV then a PS3.
