I got the MASSIVE one :lol: £300 with PGR3 and an extra wirelsess controller and hard drive etc etc..

Will be cool if the 360 can emulate the wii, has the 360 been "cracked" yet.

I have added all this since. Have now got the HD (free off Des

), two wireless controllers and nine games.

The 360 has been hacked to an extent. Well, they must have because I have seen linux running on one.

not really, you do get a game (wii sports) and the hard drive is built in, OK I know it's only half a gig, but its better than nowt, the controllers are wireless anyways!

At half a gig that won't be a hard disk, it will be memory of some sort.

well it's flash memory, but at least it can save game progress without the need of buying any memory cards.

Still the Wii is a lot cheaper than its rivals.

And no where as powerful...but I don't consider the Wii to be rivaling nether the PS3 or 360...

OK I know UK release will have a lot to do with it, and even though the wii isn't as powerfull as its competition, it will still be a big rival, look at the DS vs. PSP, the PSP has more power and better features than the DS, but the DS has sold a lot more units than the PSP.

Have you got the headset yet, i recall playing campaign on GoW with you and you said you didnt have one, :lol: only £14.99.

I wonder how long the Wii-mote will be innovative? Perhaps it will turn out to be a gimmick? Sure, it's new and fun now, but perhaps people will get tired of it, or developers will have a hard time figuring out how to use it well.

I guess Nintendo is mostly first party stuff, so they will have a good handle on making games that use the Wii-mote... I don't know, I just see it as a bit gimmicky, and not really made for the long run.
