the other day i played a brand new wii at gamestop.

i played excite truck

could it be any worse?!?!??!

it may only be that game...but i mean...come on....

you had to hold the wii-mote horizontaly and turn it like a steering wheel.

It sucked...

really bad

I would turn and it about *literally* 3 seconds later it would turn...

I mean.....

wtf?

any thoughts?

Don't be so quick to judge Agomae...the game(s) you've played are obviously very primative in the Wii's history...and the games, I'm sure, will get MUCH better...just give it some time.

Look at some of PSP's first titles, compared to ones being released now...i.e.: Lumines all the way to GTA:VCS

have you seen the screens for Zelda on the Wii that lightt posted a while back, they're absolutely gorgeous.

A number of years ago I was at a trade Computer show in London (UK) and one company there had a Playstation hooked up to a camera.

One stood in from of a screen and waved a bat about and on the screen the first person perspective game thrashed a sword around following your every move with the club..... one also could play a bird demo where one flew and soared over a terrain with your arms stuck out and flapping like a demented partridge to gain altitude before you crashed.

These demo's never saw the light of day in the public areana but i do remember them being quick when one thrashed at the air with the club... so I am hoping that this Wii thing going to be just as quick as kit some eight years ago.

Maybe the software is crap and not the kit.

I, for one, plan on getting a Wii very soon. It looks like so much fun - especially Red Steel. Even my dad wants to get one for the family.
