Is anyone getting a Wii? - Page 3 - PSP-Forum.com

I just saw the Wii in action today...and it actually looked a lot cooler/more fun than I expected. As long as the price is right and they come out with a few decent games...I just might end up with one.

But, that would just be a secondary console...primary being a 360 or PS3.

They're going to be $249.99. Saw it in an advertisement a little bit ago.

I've pre-ordered though my 360 is mightily impressive, the wii has alot of work to do.

Ryder, have you actually SEEN Gears of War? It looks like one of the best game I have EVER seen. Trust me check some videos out on IGN.

I'm getting a Wii! The highlight of the system is that I can go to school, and say "I played with my Wii last night!"

So a game that you haven't played or read a review of (as it's not even out) is better than another game you haven't played? I'm not saying you won't turn out to be right, merely that you can't have an opinion saying one game is better than another when you have played neither and especially when one of them hasn't even seen the light of day.

You're right, I've played neither game. But I have seen gameplay videos of both and from what I've seen it looks to me like R:FoM will be better than GoW.
I could be wrong, FoM could turn out to have shoddy controls, a weak plot and generally poor gameplay.
But from what I've seen so far FoM > GoW

Anyway, why are we talking about PS3 and Xbox360 games in the Wii forum.

Yes I am planning on buying a Wii. I'm planning on buying the console pack plus an extra Wii-mote+nunchuck and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

ever since i saw the call of duty commercial for wii ive wanted it, but no wi find out i can get xbox 360 for $100, ill just get that and save 150 bucks.
