I Finally Got One!!! - PSP-Forum.com

I haven't been on the forum for a while because I finally got a Wii last weekend. I got really lucky, one of the employees at Wal-Mart let it slip to one of my friends that they were gonna sell them at midnight last Saturday, so I went and was first in line. They had only 13 Wiis and they sold out in like 10 minutes.

I'm really happy now that I can play all my Nintendo games I missed so badly. So far I have Wii Sports (obviously), Super Smash Bros. Brawl (very awesome), Super Paper Mario, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I also got an extra Wiimote and Nunchuck, the Classic Controller, and some Component Cables. I'm hoping to get Super Mario Galaxy soon (I wanted to get it with my schwag points, but they're out of stock, so I might just buy it if they don't get any new ones soon). I also want to get No More Heroes, and I really can't wait until Mario Kart Wii comes out in a couple more weeks.

I'm really enjoying it so far. If you have the means to procure one, I highly suggest doing so if you like Nintendo stuff, but don't expect it to be too good with 3rd party games.

I got mine off craigslist.com yesterday. I have only played Wii sports at this point. I talked with the cute girl in GameStop for about an hour also. I have to get a controller to play all the old games including game cube games.

I love the Wii. There are some amazing games (pretty much the ones you mentioned Vamp) but there are also really really bad games lol. Me and my friend rented this resident evil game and it was awful. Ended up quitting after a few minutes and playing smash bros.

Wii bowling is the **** btw

Sweet, I plan to get a Wii eventually... Too bad that Webrides tv made it so it'd take FOREVER to get anything...

Also, they only have enough Amazon giftcards to last a couple of seconds every time they restock...

Thanks guys, I can't believe I forgot how fun Nintendo games can be. Addictive too. Me and my wife stayed up until 5:30 last night playing SSBB.

That game intrigues me. How much is it? I want to pick it up as well as long as it isn't too pricey.

Over here in the UK wii fit costs £70/$140.

Man, that's a lot like I feared. I think I'll have to wait on it for a while, there are too many good games coming out between now and June (GTA IV, GT5: Prologue, MGS4, Haze, Mario Kart Wii...), not to mention all the old Wii games I missed out on that I wanna pick up. Looks like I'm gonna be broke again.

Wii Fit doesn't come out till May 19th. Still quite a ways away. You can buy one for almost $500 at amazon, lmao.

It will be pretty pricey, I bet it will be about $100 in the US. You should wait a while before getting it.
