All throughout their launch all they kept talkin about was the blu-ray quality games. That was there major sale point, No other next gen was offering that. I wont waste my time arguing about the other crap as I, could in reality give a WHAT less. Do any of you guys on here talkin PS3 own a Wii?

I don't remember them promising anything about Blu-ray quality games, but lol if they did though. Blu-ray quality games, what does that even mean?

I dont know a lot about the whole blu-ray thing. Not sure exaclty what they do. From what I've read the disc they use for blu-ray holds a lot more data then any other format. The name of the game slips my mind but, they've had a game in development since before launch of PS3. The developers were never able to do what they wanted with the game last I heard. It's probably been canned. You can also still find launch press conference's from sony where they promised blu-ray games on youtube.

Well, technically they delivered on their promise as all PS3 games are on Blu-ray whether they use the full benefits or not. I do know that Kojima said that MGS4 couldn't fit on a DVD, and the makers of FF13 and FF13 Versus have also said those games couldn't fit on a DVD. As well as Killzone and a few others I can't remember.

The blu-ray cases are weird, but than again, Sony hasn't used regular sized cases in a while.

They aren't that good vamp, the games all seem to be made for kids and wives. Who wants to play a cooking game ? come on . . .

The only thing that the wii is good for is the virtual console.

Super Mario Galaxy looks awesome. Brawl looks good. So what if it sucks? They're not THAT expensive.

mario galaxy is awesome, and i dont really go for mario games and all that. although dont play it anymore, as its story doesnt get me involved, it is fun.

same with zelda and metriod for the wii, i have them both, and i stopped playing. now that i think of it, i think its the story. theyre not good.

Yeah, I realize they're probably not that great, but I need my Nintendo 1st party fix like I said. Plus the VC will bring back tons of great memories.
