i was looking forward to a wii for more than a year then i got it on release date and after three months i got bored of it trust me the novelty dies down

man, i got bored too. CS never gets old, but i stopped playing every game (mario galaxy, metriod) after like 2 weeks, even though they were fun. i dont know why. maybe its the TV :P

It does get old quick. I got mine on launch and I hardly touch it anymore. All the games just seem half-assed, they try to hard with the controls and we get half the game we are expecting. Take smackdown vs raw 08 for example, all controls no options. I'm just hoping the games im waiting for are done correctly. Smash Brothers, Mario kart, and Animal crossing are what im waiting for.

Yeah, that's one thing you gotta accept about Nintendo systems. Outside of first party games, there isn't much to play, but man those first party games rawk.

Not to **** anyone off, but it sounds like it's like the PS3 was for me, pure awesomeoneness for the first couple months, than it just sits there collecting dust.

That's what exactly what happened to me, i completed RFOM and virtua tennis and motorstorm got boring and so did RR7 so my PS3 was collecting dust until when i got my internet running back up for my PS3 and was playing RFOM online 24/7 though not as much as ryder, man he kicked my a$$ on it lol.

Haha Resistance rocks! And yeah there was a drought of games in between January and March, that is untill Motorstorm launched

. Then my next game was in August (Heavenly Sword) then Warhawk....it pretty much picked up from there...

I'm glad I never went through that. I bought Oblivion, MotorStorm, Resistance and Virtua Fighter 5 when I first got it. Then came Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Heavenly Sword, Madden, Warhawk, etc., etc., etc. This was on top of downloaded games like Super Stardust, Blast Factor, Calling All Cars, Super Puzzlefighter HD, flOw, etc., etc., etc. Then I had all my PS2 games to finish like God of War 2, Resident Evil 5, Bully, and all the GTAs I hadn't finished.

So yeah, my PS3 has pretty much always been on since I've had it.

Now I have 15 games and I've only finished 3 of them (not counting PSN games).

I promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore until I finish a few more, but that probably won't happen. I just got Burnout and will probably pick up Turok and Haze soon...
