Default Uploading movies onto my PSP Memory Stick

Hi, can anyone help please?
I have a Sony PSP version 1003.
I've downloaded movies onto my PC as AVI files and converted them to Sony PSP MPEG 4 files using the DVDVIDEOSOFT.com free video to PSP converter.

I then created a H:\MP_ROOT folder and inside this folder, I've created two sub folders called 100ANV01 and 100MNV01.

I renamed the MPEG 4 file as M4VXXXX.MP4 and copied this file into the 100MNV01 folder and this still doesn't seem to work on my PSP.

Have I missed something out?

Is there an effective way of doing this still using free software downloads?

Q :???:

I tried that originally but, it still didn't work..the PSP memory card is showing up as it's memory being taken up but, the PSP just says there are no video files for playing.
