What Happened to UMDs!?! - PSP-Forum.com

I know what happened, but it is not a good thing. Sure UMDs were over priced, and not selling very well, but with the release of the PSP 2000, company's should reconsider making movies on UMD.

Since the new PSP can out-put video it finally makes the UMDs worth while because more people can watch them at a time.

I went to the store to buy some movies, but they stopped selling UMD movies. Thats disappointing.

The release of online converters and PSP video 9 didn't help Sony.

Yeah, but the quality of converted videos is only made for viewing on the PSP screen. They don't allow you to convert the video to a higher resolution so that you can view it nicely on a TV screen.
