how do you use it and get songs in groups??

each folder in the music folder is another group. so like if you wanted one for like sum 41 and one for BB king then you would have 2 folders in side Music folder.

PSP/MUSIC/Sum 41/put sum 41 tracks here
PSP/MUSIC/BB King/put BB king tracks here

how exactly do you create the sub folders?

For regular PSPs you'd have to connect to a computer and create them as you would on the dekstop.

So you'd open the music folder, Right click>New>Folder. That folder will now be visible on your PSP under the music tab.
