is there any way t o make them smaller as i still have a 32 meg card :cry:

if you are ripping from a cd that you own, you can set the bitrate to something really low. That might help. But you won't get near as much quality than if it was a higher bitrate.

I want to say that if you put them in wma format they're smaller, but I'm not sure.

Sure, but the PSP doesn't know how to read .wma's. Onlu .mp3 and .wav.

Oh, didnt know that. I havent even got a chance to download anything to my PSP. I only have a 32mb memory stick.

it reads .wav?
does 1.5 do that?

Nope you can't change the songs memory but if you create a custom track then it might work....

i tend to put them at 128 makes them a bit smaller

(just get a 1 gig card)

Doesn't 1.5 just support mp3 and atrac3?

If you want to shrink your mp3's you need to record it with a different bitrate. I suggest using MUSICMATCH Jukebox because it's free although it's littered with advertisements...
