Hey Sky pirate

Im guessing you had the same problem as me, im in the RAF and bought my PSP from a chogi shop in Iraq cause they were cheaper, then had the region problem, mine says 1001 model number under the battery which im guessing means its US and region 1. Ive only just figured out that the PSP games are region free but the DVDs aren't, after spending ages on e-bay, amazon etc trying to track down US games, doh! Well you live and learn!! Hope all is as good as it can be in sunny Iraq (if you're still there) Take care mate!

What region would a 1000k model be then and why can it not be registered on the uk psp official website, it only starts at 1002k

Its a shame they cant do away with all these compatibility issues. It will really make our lives easier...
