Ok, I have read all the other threads, and still no video.
My machine is a Japanese version, and has Version 2 on it.. PSP video ( wont run on my pc hoever many times I install it - XP patched up). So I installed another application, and have managed to convert video files to mp4 (they play fine on the pc). My PSP already had the 100MNV01 folder, but when I put the mp4 there nothing happens. I have reformatted the card, and recreated the root folder etc. Only last questions are; Could ti be related to the version 2 upgrade? Do files in too high a bit rate show as available videos? Is the filesname important of the file - is there a format I should be following? Any help appreciated. Ed |

The bitrate doesn't matter as long as it's on the memory card. If it wasn't, it couldn't be placed on the card in the first place. Also, the version 2.0 shouldn't matter, because you have a Japanese PSP, and you have the Japanese update. That couldn't be the problem. |
