Hey, im new here and just got a psp from someone at school and cant figure out how to put music on it. Ive been trying to use rhapsody. Sorry if this is a frequently asked question but when i searched i didnt see anything.

No use of rhapsody, just use windows explorer, copy the songs into this folder.

ms0 >> MUSIC

or

ms0 >> PSP >> MUSIC

im also new to psp. i bought a 2nd hand the other day without usb, so i havent connected it to the computer yet. is it just a basic usb connection an u can then explore and control the contents of the psp through windows? is that basically how it works, and is that how u import music and pics and vids etcv?

Yep that is how it works.
Hook up the PSP to your PC, then put MP3, MP4 and JPEG images into the correct folders.
