No, UMD's haven't been open to the public yet.
You need a memory stick duo to transfer music and videos and stuff. It also has to be Magic Gate equipped. (If you have a sony memory stick it's fine)

You have probably gotten a memory card inside the package with your PSP, right? Now, you need a USB cable. It needs to have a regular-sized USB plug on one side, and a Mini-plug on the other. You can find one of these at most electronic stores, like Best Buy or Target.
Once you hook it up, access the PSP through your computer using the USB plug. Then, using Windows Explorer, open the new drive. (It should say Removable Drive on it) and go into the folder "PSP". There, create a folder named "MUSIC" Remember, it has to be all caps. Inside the "MUSIC" folder, that's where you can put MP3 files only. |
