Default psp movie creator settings...some questions,

Hmmm...seems Im having a few niggles with it.
could someone tell me what setting they use on the PSP movie creator please.
on the main window when you load your dvd up, what to you move the video sliding bar too ?, I can only get 511kbps not 512
I am running at 30fps
audio is on 48kbps stereo.
when you go into the output settings, I can change the video kbps to 512, but when I go back to the main window, the slidebar hasnt changed, but the kbps readout has ??.....bit confused here
should I be setting the slidebar first or the output settings.
I dont seem to be able to get good audio sync, sometimes its ok, sometimes its out, and I thought it might be to do with the settings im using ?
Im trying to record an old black and white quatermas movie, which is in mono if that makes any difference
cheers for any help or advice.

There is a tutorial in the media section by monkey business using pspvideo9.

That might help.

The one movie I have tried worked OK for the first hour, but was about a second out of sync for the next hour. I think it because that was the point when I got bored waiting for it to rip from the DVD, and started to watch it in Media Player. I tried ripping it again afterwards and it worked fine.

I take my movies, videos, porn, drop them into pinnacle studio 10. From there you can trim em whatever, then when finished you can turn them into mp4 files. I've never had a problem with the audio at all. All my files converted from pinnacle work perfectly.
