I have searched and still can't really figure out the point of group in the music player.

Is it really just that it will stop after playing one folder instead of going on to the next one, or does it do more?

More importantly, does it make any difference to shuffle play? Group on - it shuffles within only one folder, group off - it shuffles only within one folder. Bah!

That's exactly the point of group.

Plus it's easier to find the style of music you are looking for if you have them in groups - eg: HipHop in one, Rock in another etc.
