i just wan to know is there anyway to convert videos that are in mkv format. Cause no matter how i convert the subtitles never appear on my psp.

New to PSP movies, I've installed PSP video 9 and during installation and while running it, my virus protections blocks it from connecting to the internet. I'm very suspicious of software that connects itself to the internet, unless it's checking for updates and let's me know about it!!!

    Any thoughts/info anyone can give????

    Thanks......

SourceForge.net: convert ogm, mkv to avi with subtitle

I used to use this program. Very handy. Quick, high quality conversion and you can convert with subtitles.

Ok, I've tried PSP video 9 again, and to answer my own question, (nobody else did), the program displays advertising while you're using it, so it's accessing the internet to get the advertising.

The problem I'm having now is that under the resolution I use with windows, 1024x768, the buttons aren't displayed onscreen unless I raise the resolution so high (shrinking everything) that I can't read the text. Is it because I use Vista?? I see no "settings" that I can change in the program to help this.

I have been able to use the program, but sometimes I feel I'm going blind!!

I've used Dvd Decrypter for years now, and since it's not being updated anymore, what should I use when it doesn't work on a dvd??

    Thanks for any help.

    Hmmm... I'm using 5.00 M-33 6.

Have these people come up with ways to put (non-youtube) videos on the PSP without converting them to MP4 first?

I have recently been putting dvds on to my psp via converting, ripping etc.

For some reason when I put the movie file (MP4) on my memory stick I need it in both MP_ROOT/100MNV01 and VIDEO otherwise it just won't work..
